Republicans want to know why Hillary Clinton was NOT charged with a crime and Democrats call this another With Hunt like Benghazi.

I look forward to hearing M. Comey and any other FBI agents answer more questions about the investigation into Hillary's emails and why she and her staff were not charged with security violations

Hard to understand how the State Dept and Hillary were so lax handling classified material. Our military is very strict , with heavy duty penalties for lesser offenses. If you mishandle classified material whether willfully or not your career could be over in the Navy. I recall that happening to an ANGLICO Lt in Vieques Puerto Rico. I think that was the only one I had first hand knowledge of. We were all very aware of the do's and dont's when handling classified material and/or registered pubs

Sgt Tom Cunnally - military falls under UCMJ (as should all federal govt.) while the feds fall under a very sketchy and loose reined form of law that is controlled and changed as needed to protect the guilty

A while back someone told Dir. Comey -- no way will you recommend charges against madame Clinton. That prime directive seems to have gone poof.

Obama took off to parts unknown on Friday. That has got to mean something.

The GOP didn't catch Clinton out in all those Benghazi hearings because she told a lot of whopping lies.

It is easy to sound polished, relaxed and self-confident when you don't have to worry about telling the truth.

It was a circus. Trey Gowdy had Dir Comely admit to at least 4 crimes committed by Hillary and every Democrat on there praised him for conduction a fair investigation... This Administration and PC crowd has got to go...

The FBI Director's own statement yesterday describing in detail indictable offenses and culminating in a recommendation of no indictment demands investigation. He may as well have projected a slide show with one slide screaming "This is a political cover up!". The whole argument of lack of criminal intent was a canard. No criminal intent is required in this case.

Unfortunately, it seems as thought he system is one-sided and rigged to make Killary the next POTUS. All we can do is our part and vote. But I am pretty sure that it will make no difference.

I'm listening to the hearings right now, and I don't understand what's going on. The FBI director said that Mrs. Clinton's server was unauthorized and not secure, and contained over 100 classified (at their origin) emails. Right after that he said that he believes she didn't break the law. Can someone explain to me how those two statements are compatible? I have nothing against the Director, but I really don't get it.

Sir, whether or not it was a criminal act or negligent incompetence, she should never be eligible for any level of security clearance with the Federal Government again. That would be the minimum repercussion for anyone else who violated the protocols of their clearance. That in itself should disqualify her from being POTUS. The fact that Trump's businesses have declared bankruptcy 4 times in 18 years would be one reason to disqualify him, as that would be a disqualifier for anyone else processing for a TS clearance.

How about hearings into Republican use of taxpayer dollars for partisan electioneering? I'd like hearings into the $7,000,000 wasted on Benghazi investigation number eight that revealed exactly the same lack of culpability and the same lack of rescue possibility as investigations one through seven, all in the hopes of dropping Hillary Clinton's poll numbers.

Kevin McCarthy admitted it in a rare moment of going off party message, and we taxpayers deserve our money back.

This will not go away until after the elections. Yes, the investigation and travesty of justice on Hillary's breaking the law is over, but the accountability is not. Hopefully, those that have our national interests in mind remember what she did and the results of a corrupt government leads to, some that are above the law. A quick review of comments were made this morning on TV and the use of the words, intent and careless were being used by the President and many others leading up to Comey's acceptance of defeat. The message was transmitted and received on the precise wording to prevent prosecution.

SFC J Fullerton - From the Congressional research service.

Security clearances are not mandated for the President, Vice President, Members of Congress, Supreme Court Justices, or other constitutional officers. The criteria for election or appointment to these positions are specified in the U.S. Constitution, and except by constitutional amendment, no additional criteria (e.g., holding a security clearance) may be required.17

MCPO Roger Collins - Should be and can be are two different things I guess. If the only court that can pass a judgment in this is the court of public opinion, then maybe that will be enough to keep her from being elected. Problem is, the alternative is no better and she will probably win by default.

SFC J Fullerton - I would disagree, most of Trump's problems are making dumb statement, hers are corruption, dishonesty and a lack of regard for for national security. I'll take the former and give him the boot in four years if he doesn't perform.
