Should there be a USN ship named USS Love Boat and what would be its mission and manning doctrine?

Due to budget and regulatory requirements, this is all the "Love" this "Boat" has to give. Everything else is tasked out or in drydock.

NO, it would be 100% inappropriate to ever name any US Navy ship by a name like that. Ship names with either a Patriotic theme or to Honor Navel or National Hero's or in some cases Historic place in the United States and the like would be proper. Names such as one ship My Dad served on in WWII, the USS Pirate or another ship before that the USS Trapper and things like that are also fine. He also served on the USS Kidd, which was named after a Navy Admiral killed at Pearl Harbor. Navel crews also take pride in the ships they serve on, a ship's name is nothing to joke with. What perhaps may be an exception the USS Kidd although named after a Navy Admiral flew the jolly Roger with skull and crossbones, the Navy did n't like that. Seems they had a certain pirate Captain Kidd in mind and the Captain refused to take it down, He said it helped crew moral. The Navy gave in a let them continues to fly the jolly Roger. That symbol has been used after that on Navy aircraft but until the USS Kidd flew it that was never authorized before on a US Navy ship.

Hey Aaron, well an unusual question, indeed. I don't think the Navy would ever go for that although some ship names have been a little surprising to me. Maybe some sort of landing craft or, better yet, a barge or tug. That name would perhaps be befitting along those lines. I am a dusty old grunt and my familiarity with Naval equipment is limited though I have always been interested in thing Naval. Good question, Aaron. Made me think.

With a name of USS Love Boat, I see USS Tailhook right beside it, and USS SHARP, USS #TRIGGERED, and USS #METOO all together. USS SHARP, #TRIGGERED, and #METOO all sunk the Love Boat and Tailhook, in the Marianas Trench, and their Skippers didn't get relieved, they went down with the ship.

I'm fairly sure I have already been on said ship lol 3 years and starting from Highest rank to lowest.

Lets see two O2's having an Affair, caught repeatedly at bars and hotels on deployment.
1 O1 with an E5, the E5 got out the O1 stayed in, they got married last I head the O1 was pregnant and they were expecting a Girl.
2 E8's one replaced the other and then did the same thing with another E4.
2 E7's ones investigation lead to one of the above E8's being caught.
1 E6 with a E2, they got married and last I head are still together.
and a bunch of E5 on E5 and E4 on E4 stuff. Amazingly the E3 and below managed to keep it in their pants. I guess they listen to the training lol.
