We really need to stop taking God out of everything. Things started going downhill since taking prayer out of school and so on, and so on. What good does it do to remove the phrase from currency anyway? It can't do anything but make things worse.

Absolutely not! This is a nation founded on Judeo-Christian principles, and America is a Christian nation - not by decree but by the mere fact that most Americans are Christian despite the representation of many other religious philosophies among the population. Unfortunately, our incompetent, empty-suit and unaccomplished president has declared that America is not a Christian nation despite the Founding Father's reliance on their Christian beliefs and values and their incorporation into the very foundation of America, hence "In God We Trust."

If you mean, put our money back to the way it was before 1952, then yes. God is a private and personal issue for all Americans, not something that should be forced upon all citizens.

The problem with the United States is that our government is slowly trying to remove any reference to God. But it's ironic that whenever tragedy strikes our country everyone starts pleading for God's help. We shouldn't just trust in God when things are bad; we should trust in God even when things are good. Having "In God We Trust" in our currency is just a good reminder of that.

This is settled law. In Aronow v. United States, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled:

"It is quite obvious that the national motto and the slogan on coinage and currency 'In God We Trust' has nothing whatsoever to do with the establishment of religion. Its use is of patriotic or ceremonial character and bears no true resemblance to a governmental sponsorship of a religious exercise. .."

SCOTUS declined to hear an appeal, a move which is a de facto endorsement of the ruling.

Absolutely not ... Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. It is a part of our heritage and should be left alone. "God' is not limited to one religion, be it Christian, Jewish, Muslim, etc.

Contrary to what some libtards want people to believe, there is nothing in the Constitution about separation of church and state. Too many people are working towards establishing the US as having "freedom from religion", when we are guaranteed "freedom of religion", which includes not having any religion, if you so choose.

It never should have been put on there in the first place.
In God we trust, all others pay cash. And it would help if that cash was actually backed by something other than trust in the FED, or trust in God.
Seriously, money is the root of all evil and Jesus never would have endorsed the money changers.

Some of you need God in your soul more than on our money.
