That is repulsive. If they want to take a knee, it should be to pray they don't lose their fan base.Response by LTC John Griscom made Sep 25 at 2017 12:34 AM2017-09-25T00:34:44-04:002017-09-25T00:34:44-04:00PFC Jonathan Albano2944551<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'm all for peaceful protest, however, there are appropriate and inappropriate platforms to voice from. I personally feel that boycotting the anthem is an inappropriate platform as it's disrespectful to the very country that allows for one to protest in the first place. As the NFL is a private organization, they would be within their rights to restrict their players from this action. On the same token, they are within their rights to allow players to do so but, by doing so, risk the appearance of official endorsement by the NFL of a certain political view. As it stands right now, the NFL has chosen through inaction to allow for the boycott of the National Anthem. They just need to keep in mind they are an entertainment company. If the consumer feels the NFL's choice on this matter detracts from the entertainment value of their content, they might just find their consumer seeking entertainment elsewhere. It's my opinion that inaction, in this case is an action. One that can end up affecting their bottom line. The last thing they want to do is take a knee. They need to decide whether to allow or disallow the boycott, and then put out a press release explaining why the decided what they did. At least, that's how I'd handle it if I was running the show.Response by PFC Jonathan Albano made Sep 25 at 2017 1:11 AM2017-09-25T01:11:25-04:002017-09-25T01:11:25-04:00SSG Dave Johnston2944580<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Why not eliminate the National Anthem from sporting events; or maybe, have DOD seat recovering wounded warriors on the benches with a banner that reads "We took the Bullet to keep you safe".Response by SSG Dave Johnston made Sep 25 at 2017 1:24 AM2017-09-25T01:24:18-04:002017-09-25T01:24:18-04:00SSG William Jones2944604<div class="images-v2-count-1"><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-1" id="image-178972"> <div class="social_icons social-buttons-on-image">
