Should the family of Robert "Bob" Levinson be angry he was not released from Iran?

There has been a lot of coverage about the release of (1) Marine veteran Amir Hekmati ; (2) Christian pastor Saeed Abedini; (3) journalist Jason Rezaian; (4) Nosratollah Khosrawi; and (5) Matthew Trevithick from Iranian prisons.
There has been less coverage about the two american citizens still imprisoned in Iran: Siamak Namazi and former FBI agent Robert Levinson who was taken hostage on March 9, 2007, when visiting Iran's Kish Island while supposedly researching a cigarette smuggling case.
His family is rightfully concerned about his health and safety after being held for nearly 9 years.
What are you thought on this situation?

I think that the family of Bob Levinson have every right to be angry that their husband and father was not released as part of the prisoner exchange with Iran. I think they should be hopeful and thankful that at least some headway has been made in releasing Iranian prisoners. Hopefully efforts are underway to gain the release of all other citizens of the US and our allies currently held in Iran.

1. Why would he care about cigarette smuggling and go to Iran for it.
2. Former FBI agent in iran? Seriously though.

Why do people have this undying need to travel to these places, regardless of the reason.

LTC Stephen F., Whether he is dead or not doesnt matter. He's an American and needs to come home one way or another. The government can tell us anything they think is going to appease the family and us, but we know they are lying, just like they did when they told us all of the Americans missing in Vietnam were accounted for, and that AO didn't cause any cancer in Vietnam vets. I dont know why they think we believe their garbage. They're dumb as a stump, if they think were not intelligent enough to see through them.
