It is a specialization school that could, at the least, teach the basics of SERE. If any branches what additional, they could add on, but why not have it all based in the same location? You could bring in SERE specialists from other branches, too. I don't think it would take too much of a tweak to get the school to teach what all branches want. SERE-C in the Army for example - SERE-C at Fort Rucker is different than the SERE-C at Camp Mackall and rightfully so. Don't get me wrong - they both hit the key training points throughout the course, but one is tailored more so to Aviators and that community - while the other is tailored more to the SOF community and those who find themselves working in similar environments as the SOF community. <br /><br />That being said - I do believe in leaving the other SERE courses in the hands of the USAF, as you guys have done a great job with those schools (I've never heard a bad comment from the school up in Washington). Allow the different service to send instructors and to deploy as needed. It may help to make sure everyone is on the same page when it comes to SERE and possibly build some morale among the forces.
