With the current decision by the Navy to do away with rating within their ranks, to be more in line with other service ranks, is this just another example of political correctness getting out of control throughout the military?

NO,NO.NO. Be regs we are suppose to be non-partisan while in uniform- no political BS for any party. You vote to express yourself.
