they Need to Know what they are Looking at and exactly How to interpret the information and the proper way to handle the Samples... Trained Monkeys have a tendency to screw things Up...
when the Out cone effects folks Lives so they should Br licensed and certified... and well Trained

Are you talking about in the civilian world or in the military. For civilians I say absolutely. Who knows what kind of training they get or even if their school is accredited. In the military I don't think it is necessary since training is very standardized and there are many checks in place to ensure competency. That being said, an MT or MLT certification/BOR should be highly encouraged in the military.

For chemistry and ua tests, sure. It’s basically just maintain the analyzer. But for Blood banking, microbiology, hemotology, absolutly not. You need to know what you’re looking at or patient care is negatively effected.
