We finish PT at 08 and start at 0930 with the traffic at the gate I’m not sure if I should head home after PT and shower change eat and head back or something else. If not that I don’t know where I’d shower and change. Help? Lol thanks! In ideal conditions, going 60mph, just travel time will be 20 minutes. It's more reasonable to assume an average of 30 mph, so let's double that time to 40 mins. Traffic issues and time to get into the gate, plus slow congested base traffic will likely push your home a car to an hour. That leaves very little wiggle room to eat, shower and dress.

When I was active, we had another accountability formation just before starting the work day, after PT. I bet your leaders will expect you to be there 10-15 mins early.

It's it possible to manage, possibly. It's it worth the stress, probably not. I am making some assumptions about your local situation. The only way to find out if it will work, is to try it, but be prepared for the consequences. I suggest finding others who commute and get their take on things. Let your squad leader know what you are doing so they can anticipate where you might be when it gets closer to. 0845 and you are not there 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 04 Jul 2019 20:21:16 -0400 2019-07-04T20:21:16-04:00 Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 4 at 2019 8:28 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-i-head-home-after-pt?n=4780625&urlhash=4780625

As others have mentioned, using the post gym is your best bet. Make sure you pack all components of your uniform in the bag the night before. It wouldn’t hurt to have an extra PC and in the car either. I lived in the barracks when I was enlisted but I had to loan guys t-shirts are few time when they forgot them. 1LT Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 04 Jul 2019 20:28:45 -0400 2019-07-04T20:28:45-04:00 Response by Devansh Chaurasiya made Jul 5 at 2019 2:25 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-i-head-home-after-pt?n=4781107&urlhash=4781107

chill...experience the different culture is some country before going home..you gonna love it..China , Taiwan, Korea are amazing.. and are close by to fly and see it over the 2-3 days off Devansh Chaurasiya Fri, 05 Jul 2019 02:25:53 -0400 2019-07-05T02:25:53-04:00 2019-07-04T19:39:47-04:00
