So here is my issue. The company conducted hieght and weight after the pt test(272) and I failed. After being flagged I saw my 5500 on my psg desk and seen my hieght was wrong by an inch. I brought it up to my psg so he verified by remeasurin. he talked with 1sg about the issue and 1sg said it was a record and cannot be changed and even if he removed the flag I would still need to go back to the promotion board. I think that the flag is erronious and should be removed. ....thoughts? Should I be flagged or should it be removed? 2018-10-30T08:07:07-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 4085837

I trust the leaders on here from the advice I've read in the past, so if I'm wrong just set me straight. A quick talk with your unit S1 should clear that up for your 1SG. While 1SGs are the king of admin within a company, they aren't always familiar with these more unusual cases.
If you look in the promotion reg, this falls under a flag resolving and the SM is not at fault. They never gain weight and certainly never grow taller. What were you thinking? Slap yourself on the wrist and never ever do it again.
If your story checks out about the 1SG checks out and you weren't slouching (not standing tall and straight), the flag should be removed as long as it is verified that your 5500 is incorrect and you aren't slouching. peopel do grow after entering the army but it's usually wider.
