Should freedom of speech be absolute or should it be limited?

It is limited but not very much. For example, you are not free to yell fire in the theater when there is no fire. Nor are you free to incite rioting or threaten the life of a president or others.

Beyond these obvious limitations it should be totally free. No where am I given the right to NOT hear what I may not like.

That said free speech does not include freedom from consequences of what you say. You speech may wind up putting you in an unemployment line or in being banished from a group that does not agree with what you say.

how about leaving thing as they are ... and ignoring what every one is crying about... there is too much Butt Hurt over simple words... too many thin Skinned and easily offended Children and Politically correct morons...
