Therefore, around the beginning of November, I have to recalculate all the time differences when calling family back in the States.<br /><br />Otherwise, I am unconvinced that dropping it will be a plus. Besides, I like all the trivia questions about the days that either lose an hour of time or gain one. Keeping this in mind DST helps to reduce the need for shifting work hours to compensate for the natural change in natural daylight throughout the year.<br /><br />I think we could get by without DST with the global technelogical climate we live in today. We have a much different view of time than was the norm when DST was implemented. <br /><br />Some changes are a good thing!!
