Should churches (defined as churches, temples, mosques, synagogues, etc.) remain tax-exempt?

No, all revenue generating religious organizations should be taxed in the same manner those attending them are taxed. Religion, like charitable foundations, has become big business and tax havens for those who run them.

I think taxing a religious organization is a means of government control and would undermine the Constitution. So my answer is they should remain tax exempt.

They should remain Tax Exempt as we follow separation of Church and State, that being said the moment a Church enters into politics or takes a Political stance or spends money on politics it should end (see Al Sharpton)

Public Schools should not teach ANY religion or parts of a Religion beyond, these people follow this religion those people follow that religion. It is the parents job to encourage / denounce / educate / indoctrinate when it comes to Religion not the Public.
