Should all beaches be public to allow access to the ocean, or do you believe that some beaches can be bought for private use?

Private beaches on private islands - Public access everywhere else.

That was never an issue with us, never having owned beach-front property. If this had been the case I would not like public access to the water through my property. Here in TX the law clearly spells out where private property ends and public property along the water line begins. I think everyone should have access to beachfront areas, but not encroaching back onto private property.

The beaches should be open to the public but have public access paths or roads so not to cross another persons yard or private property. That is pretty much hte case anyway in My experience with most places that have ocean front.

I think it's fine to have private beaches, but don't ask the taxpayers to flip the bill when your beach erodes...
