SGT Private RallyPoint Member 1488991 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recently reached out to my unit's security officer for assistance in renewing my security clearance. And, I was told that she didn't deal "directly" with soldiers. I found that peculiar. Given the nature of counterintelligence (which, conceivably, might require reporting), I was under the impression that these shops should not turn away soldiers. Should a units' security officer have an "open door" policy? 2016-04-29T15:19:51-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 1488991 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I recently reached out to my unit's security officer for assistance in renewing my security clearance. If she was an Officer, of course she turned you away. She has some Sgt/Spc assigned to her. Go to them, fill out the proper paperwork, &amp; then she will review it. They/Officers don't just drop everything to be @ your beck &amp; call. There are procedures.
