We do not need another Article, and the military will not ban marriages. Part of the fun of being 18 is making a ton of mistakes and learning from them. All experiences good or bad help to shape who we are today. If a young military person gets married too young and it implodes then they learned what not to do. SGT David T. That was ruled unconstitutional. In response, the military mandated counseling prior to such a marriage. One of the concerns related to immigration issues with the prospective spouse. Any outright ban on marriage would be unconstitutional. However, a regulation requiring marriage counseling before marriage should be OK.
