Train your Soldier on the basics! Then once you've completed your training objectives, do them again. While you're supporting the maneuver operations, you will stay busy preparing resupply, battle tracking, etc..., but there will be plenty of time to Jump the ALOC to another location (even if that just means tearing it down and setting it back up), map reading, drivers training, etc... This is your time to teach your Soldiers things that they don't know they don't know and to make them more proficient at the things that they do know.

Do you have access to the those whose duty is in the ALOC? I would hold a SYNC meeting to include OBJs, Tasks, and Priority of Work.

Yes sir, issue is we are a newly formed Task Force with leadership comprising of Armor expierence. We are a light unit now. A lot of my fellow Supply SGTs and S4 not including myself are armor expierence and aviation. So us as logisticians are trying to brain storm how an ALOC should be set up as a Light element.

I would imagine that the ALOC will still have many of the same functions. See if you can get help from a Light Battalion S4 and the S4 NCOIC. That will be your RECON. :)

It's easy SSG Denney, you can set your ALOC(S4) with BN S1 Shop, because once your in Theater (S4 and S1) has to work together in Combat. It's all about Accountability and Personnel/OCIE believe me, I speak from experience.
