Our job is very high profile so molding them early is key SSG Christopher Freeman Wed, 17 Jun 2015 16:43:23 -0400 2015-06-17T16:43:23-04:00 Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 17 at 2015 5:19 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/seasoned-over-new-recruit?n=753813&urlhash=753813 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It depends on what I want them for. If it is to fill a specific need like a gunner on a deployment, I'd rather have one that has done the job before. If it is just to fill a vacant slot in the MTOE, I'd rather have the PVT-PFC to learn from the ground up and have the ability to be promoted in recognition of that growth.<br /><br />Either way, the standards are the same...the approach may be slightly different. Enforce the standards for the SPC versus teach and then enforce the standards for the new troop. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 17 Jun 2015 17:19:02 -0400 2015-06-17T17:19:02-04:00 Response by SSG Kevin McCulley made Jun 18 at 2015 9:57 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/seasoned-over-new-recruit?n=755247&urlhash=755247 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Does it even matter anymore?
