School of the Soldier

We are standing up a School of the Soldier program....would like any materials (SOPs,etc.) to help us get off the ground.

Have you looked into your local pubs building on post, they may have a large overstock of materials that could be helpful, since everything has pretty much gone digital, not too many things get ordered through the old school pubs system anymore, and there are many things that have been stored most likely for years.

I would also recommend hitting up your installation G3 for training materials, SOPs, modules, etc. as they are the approval authority for most training being conducted on an installation, and also provide guidance for what can and cannot be utilized on just about every installation as well.

Just a few suggestions for starters.

1. Have you any idea how the points are calculated for the Soldier/NCO of the Month/Quarter board? 2. Is there an actual DA/DD form where you can see the categories of the areas and number of points possible? Thank you.
