SGT Private RallyPoint Member 1072031 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I updated my APFT on 151005 giving me 651 points for promotion. On 151009, the pac clerk, a PFC, changed my APFT giving me 588 points for promotion. At no fault of mine, I was not on the by name list for Nov for promotion to SSG. AR 600-8-19 does clearly state that there's nothing I can do, but I refuse to believe that. Is there anyone with 42A experience that could guide me in the right direction to get promoted? I have researched 600-8-19 and milper 11-233 and understand. There has to be a loophole somewhere. S1 entered my APFT score incorrectly and it impacted my promotion points...how can I get the paperwork revised to correct their mistake? 2015-10-28T14:24:15-04:00 SGT Private RallyPoint Member 1072031 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I updated my APFT on 151005 giving me 651 points for promotion. He should have some guidance.<br /><br />Does the Army have Request Mast? If so, that should be a reason to RR to the IG. Engage your BDE S1 HR Tech to pull an eMILPO audit trail as proof of when the record was changed the first and second time. Add it to your ARC packet. Make sure your 1SG and CSMs (BN &amp; BDE) are on board with what happened and how you intend to correct it. Something similar happened to me with my promotion to Sergeant. The Brigade S1 said I screwed up when it was their error. I would have made points. They blamed me for their mistake, and when it required the approval of the brigade commander, it was denied...because people often don't want to admit they were messed up Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 28 at 2015 6:44 PM 2015-10-28T18:44:41-04:00 2015-10-28T18:44:41-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 1086590 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>There is nothing you can do. Unless it was falsified intentionally by someone else. You have to confirm your points monthly and you should have caught the error in time to have it fixed. Without knowing the entire situation, it's hard to speak to. Dates of entry, date of change and date of you validating or confirming your monthly points are all factors. No one locally would have any decision making effects on your grievance anyway. My advice is to get all of your facts together and submit it however they will not retro your promotion unless it is an error with the actual system. If you are at a BDE level maybe but majority of BN S1 clerks don’t have access to change that in eMilpo . Who ever inputs your APFT scores into DTMS that’s who you have to talk to.
