RP Community, would it be a good idea to have an RP legislative delegation to go to Washington and talk to legislators about our concerns?

What concerns? Where would the funds come from? We currently have major groups like DAV, VFW, and Paralyzed Veterans of America in Washington D.C.

It's a noble suggestion, but it would likely be more effective if each of us here took our ideas to our local veterans' groups, participated consistently in local elections, and perhaps considered running for office where possible.

At the end of the day, I believe platforms such as RP provide a good "sounding board", but do not constitute any entity in and of themselves. Each of us belongs to a community, state and nation we have most certainly earned the right to have a hand in leading.
