SGT Jose Perdelia-Torres1163337<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I just wanted to take some time to reflect on the fact that I'm a College Student, to remember on how I got to this moment. See I was real lost after getting out of the Army. I was a wreck, I was used to being in charge and having certain respect allotted to me solely on my rank in of itself. <br />Don't worry I was not egotistical while in the Army, trust me on that. <br /><br />Some of us when we get out, feel useless. And you're confronted with all of the issues plaguing the Nation. Unemployment, Hunger, Police Brutality, etc. You find yourself in some of those predicaments. You start to grasp how desolate (if you let it), that parts of our Nation have become. Unable to get a desirable job, you take one for minimum wage, where you diet consists of food from your fast food job and cigarettes and booze at home for dinner. <br /><br />Then you meet people, that are encouraging, and uplifting, motivating and inspiring. And you are confronted with a few options," to mellow in the murky water, or seek out pristine waters". I am so humbly thankful, for those that encouraged me in my darkest hours of despair. <br />Reach for your goals, no matter how lofty. <br /><br />Reach out and inspire someone each day, and reflect on those that helped you find your way. I will assist you with the following question:<br /><br />Who helped you along your way in life?
