Denver va
The bill is the second one that Congress passed within the last three weeks to permit work to keep going on the Denver-area project, which has become the poster child for VA cost overruns and program delays.

This will probably give them more time to collect their illegal bonuses. Someone needs to drop the hammer of justice on the VA.

Of course he did! Let's just spend more money! Hell, the Disabled Vets don't need it, right?

He'll want his name on it when it's done. It will be the most expensive boondoggle, why not?

I hated on the VA, before hating on the VA was cool. That said, the bill was approved by a Republican congress, if he had vetoed it... then he would have been painted as the bad guy for not supporting Veterans.

There is a need for the hospital, he's not going to save the taxpayer any money by canceling the project and starting over again... and he's not going to help veterans by causing further delays.

What he needs to do is hold those people responsible for managing this project accountable, throwing people in prison for gross mismanagement should be an option left on the table.
