I did one with two other guys in front of our Aircraft, the second one was while sitting in the front seat of an Apache over the radio with the Warrant in the backseat. I was stationed with the 3rd US Infantry (The Old Guard) for four years, and reenlisted at the Tomb of the Unknowns. I requested that the Alfa Company Commander Lt. Preble be the Reenlisting Officer. I asked to be Reenlisted on top of this Water tower on the Base. We climbed a couple hundred feet up the tower to the upmost platform. That is where the traditional Reenlisting ceremony was conducted.
