I did however like the Tuskegee Airmen better.Response by SPC Charles Brown made Jun 7 at 2014 10:38 PM2014-06-07T22:38:00-04:002014-06-07T22:38:00-04:00MSgt Private RallyPoint Member146918<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I enjoyed the movie. It actually is supposed to end up being a trilogy, so I guess we will see how it goes. I would say I would give the movie a 7.Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 7 at 2014 11:04 PM2014-06-07T23:04:42-04:002014-06-07T23:04:42-04:00SSgt Private RallyPoint Member146952<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It appropriately showed the Airmen were not just good but was great and we were blessed to have them on our side.Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 7 at 2014 11:27 PM2014-06-07T23:27:53-04:002014-06-07T23:27:53-04:00SFC A.M. Meeting a Tuskegee Airman at a reunion of USS Anzio in Norfolk, VA gets a 10. He was one of the last to go through the training and was never deployed into combat, but he made it and earned the title.Response by CMDCM Gene Treants made Jul 25 at 2014 1:57 PM2014-07-25T13:57:54-04:002014-07-25T13:57:54-04:00SFC Mark Merino255474<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not one of his better movies but definitely on the mandatory watch list. From what I read, the movie only touched a few of the discriminatory issues that the Red Tails had to endure. It is amazing that a single aviator ever even graduated from Tuskeegee. I'm sure the director felt too much background info would have made the movie a documentary........ 7/10Response by SFC Mark Merino made Sep 25 at 2014 3:17 PM2014-09-25T15:17:03-04:002014-09-25T15:17:03-04:00LTC Paul Labrador255477<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I gave it a 5. With the big budget that this money had available, I expected a better movie. The older (and lower budget) "Tuskegee Airmen" (that Cuba Gooding Jr was ALSO in) was IMHO a better story.Response by LTC Paul Labrador made Sep 25 at 2014 3:19 PM2014-09-25T15:19:58-04:002014-09-25T15:19:58-04:002014-06-07T22:27:17-04:00
