During my time as a leader, I met my fair share of soldiers who "popped hot" for different substances and had to deal with far too many excuses, many of them silly beyond belief.<br /><br />My question is this: now that recreational use of marijuana is legal in Colorado and Washington, are the number of positive UAs increasing for soldiers stationed in those states? Even though its legal in these 2 states its still against UCMJ. Can you imagine the battle? It stays in your system for up to 30 days yet a NG member is not bound by UCMJ unless on orders.
