Personally, I believe it's his only redeeming value. But if someone votes for him on that single issue, they have issues.

I support Bernie Sanders for a number of reasons and this is just one of them. He and Trump are the only candidates that are not bought and payed for by special interests. He recognizes and addresses many of the economic issues that plague this country, will move it in the right direction. He's the only Democrat I support, and if he doesn't get the nomination my vote will go to Jill Stein the Green party candidate.

He's got a few things going against him: he's Jewish and the anti-Semitism runs strong in some folks. He's from a small state. He's running in a primary against a skilled and experienced opponent. He gets derided for looking "too old" ... though he seems pretty vibrant to me. He's got that "democratic socialist" label, and Americans have been conditioned for seventy years to be suspicious of saying 'socialism' without sneering. On the other hand, he's got one thing going for him: he's the best candidate I've seen in ... ever.

Someone should ask him about his "plan" for individual taxes if he's elected - because even with all of the pork on Capital Hill, that's not going to cover his hopes and wishes of providing what he keeps promising.

He doesn't get my vote regardless how much good he wants to do for veterans. In fact, I think its all a game to get our votes. He is also a socialist. He wants to give everything away to the self entitled generation.

Bernie is a self admitted Socialist and doesn't think about the debt and its ramifications on future generations. Anyone remember what happened to our first attempt at Socialism? Someone eventually has to pay for the largesse, and it we taxed the top 1% at a 100% earned income rate it is doubtful that it would even cover the deficit each year. One estimate that I heard is that if everything he is promising were to take place, the increase in the debt would be an additional $18T. That on top of the $19T or so that we will have at the end of this administration.

Let's go a little broader. I have heard and I've been told, Bernie has not had a single Bill passed that he wrote/sponsored. So, all I know of the guy is the impression I've gotten from social media, the press and listening to him speak a few times.

My question is:
What has Bernie done while in the Senate? What is his record?

I am not looking for opinions. Give me hard facts (links to official sources) if you have any.
