Your asvab GT score needs to be 110 or higher ST 105 (I think). Ensure there are no pending legal issues ie. Traffic tickets and so forth. Must have a TB shot and Hepatitis shot. I have a class starting on February 29th and you may email [login to see] for any further assistance. If I was you I will be reclassified to 68J.. This is a very demanding MOS and in huge demand on civilian life therefore getting the military experience that you can use when you get out... After you reclass to 68W, apply for Airborne Training and then the SOCM (Special Operations Combat Medic) course here at Fort Bragg. There is a lot more to being a Medic than you may realize, and SOF needs quality Medics. SFC Patrick R. You may be getting a bonus for keeping your MOS for a certain amount of years. If you decide to go for the reclassified you would loose your bonus and will have to pay it back. If your not getting a bonus, then proceed to make sure your unit is authorized that mos, then take it from there.
