I was giving a pretty bad NCOER for a incident I had while off duty( No it wasn't a DUI) on post. It had to do with hunting in which I didn't have my weapon registered on post. As an E7 the CG has all the authority on UCMJ action / GOMAR. He opted that is was a meaning less offense, my command though freaked out and gave me a 4/4 with 2 No blocks but only one substantial bullet to support the "Needs Some Improvement". I appealed the NCOER and it was denied by HRC. This happened a year ago this month and there have been several boards and I haven't received anything. It sucks because I just hit 16 years and it all for not. A simple infraction most likely ruined everything I had earned.
