I miss "The Rock" as well. I miss the bowling alley, I miss the PX (and the Germanic coffee and cake that was near the entrance); when I was there. Picture a huge slice of cheesecake! I miss the bars right off post, along with the dvd and video rental! I miss easy access to other countries and towns; and other bases. I miss the friends I made and the friends I have lost due to their sacrifice in support of our missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. I miss how the weather could be sunny, then rainy, and then start snowing; all in the same day. I miss everything about the place and Germany in general.... I could write volumes.
