They are commonly associated with sleep apnea, but that is not ALL they do.

I would start with your primary care, let them know your issues and ask for a referral for sleep study, psych, or both.

Long term, inability to get proper sleep can have SERIOUS implications, including psychosis (this is the EXTREME, not the norm, I am not saying this is what will happen, just highlighting the importance of getting it fixed.)Response by SFC Casey O'Mally made Jun 28 at 2022 8:21 AM2022-06-28T08:21:29-04:002022-06-28T08:21:29-04:00SSG Carlos Madden7764722

I'd bring this up with your primary care first. They'll have the best advice given they know the whole picture of your health. It could be medication, stress, alcohol/drugs, time you go to sleep, what you do before you go to sleep, diet, etc.Response by SSG Carlos Madden made Jul 8 at 2022 4:07 PM2022-07-08T16:07:29-04:002022-07-08T16:07:29-04:002022-06-28T06:14:56-04:00
