How often do transfers/transitions from National Guard to Active Duty in Nevada get approved?

I've done quite a large amount of research about the transfer process going from National Guard to Active. I know that you need...
-a DD368 that has to go up the CoC where the approving authority is the General of the State
-green on MedPros/PHA
-possibly a letter of justification
-if approved soldier is subject to prior service business rules so may have to reclass or have little options in duty station
-best time to submit is probably Oct-Dec because the fiscal year just finished

This process could take generally 6 months, more or less depending on the circumstances. I was just hoping to get more specific information. I know your commanders don't have to approve it but just how often do they get not approved compared to approved? I'm in the Nevada National Guard so anyone that has experience in this state with doing the switch? Also if anyone is a 25 series and what their experience was with doing the switchover and if they kept their MOS and what duty stations they got to choose from?

A question like this will likely have to be asked of an active duty recruiter in Nevada since they would be involved in the process.

Contact one of the Army Recruiters* (not the National Guard recruiter) and see if they have the information you're looking for - they will also be able to answer your 25-series question.

Question 1. There is no place on a DD368 that requires anyone's signature besides the first General in your COC or his/her designated representative. It doesn't require a Commanders endorsement. In the Guard, in many states, the General that need to sign is the TAG. My experience is a bit dated, but in general, they will look at you MSO to the state, manning levels, and how well recruiting in your state is going. Most places take 90 days + to process it. 2. No experience with the Nevada Guard. 3. Yes, you will enlist in the Army under Prior Service rules, talk to your active duty recruiter about the current rules. Generally it is needs of the Army and if they need a 25Q, you keep your MOS. Prior Service don't get much choice in duty stations.
I do know that some states now automatically approve DD368's, I don't know if Nevada is one of them.
