By the way, my Medal of Honor isn't showing up in my record. Can you help? :)<br /><br />I'm not an HR guy but I wouldn't take anyone's word for anything.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 17 at 2018 3:25 PM2018-01-17T15:25:12-05:002018-01-17T15:25:12-05:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member3270014<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="279657" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/279657-42a-human-resources-specialist-centcom-hq-centcom">SGT Private RallyPoint Member</a> it depends on what it is and where you/they got it from. If the Soldier comes back from a school and has a certificate or your unit gives them an award you know that the Soldier graduated or got the award you can perm it. If it is an award from another unit and it comes to the unit you know it is legit. If it is something that you have a question on (suddenly they graduated HALO school in a reserves transportation unit) then yes check it out.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 18 at 2018 1:14 PM2018-01-18T13:14:36-05:002018-01-18T13:14:36-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member3284157<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>you have to verify everything you dont want someone giving false information and also keep you out of troubleResponse by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 22 at 2018 7:58 PM2018-01-22T19:58:13-05:002018-01-22T19:58:13-05:00SPC Michael Rodriguez3298720<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Never take their word for it. Enlisted or Officer, a soldier must present to you a certified copy of whatever it is he/she wants iPERM'ed; for example, a soldier must have his/her Good Conduct Medal certificate with a memo stating a permanent order number and the date it was awarded.Response by SPC Michael Rodriguez made Jan 27 at 2018 4:39 PM2018-01-27T16:39:44-05:002018-01-27T16:39:44-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member3323608<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Verify everything...It will fall back on you if someone gives you false information.
