I'm not saying that it is indicative of your overall performance whether or not you press your uniform, but from what I have seen is that those that did take pride in their uniform were taking further pride in their work. The way my first NCO laid it out to me was like this "If you look good you feel good, and if you feel good you perform great". I personally take alot of pride in my uniform and that's why I continue to press and crease my uniform.
