Use this forum to post your good news stories, horror stories, or helpful hints in Microsoft Excel. I am fluent in the program an will answer all excel related questions that have me tagged in it.<br /><br />**Excel Time Saver TIP of the Day** - If you have imported a list of Soldiers or any information that may have a few pieces of informaiton all in one collumn (first name, last name, SS# etc.) that you wish to seperate you can easily do this by by clicking the "Text to Collumns" button, found in the Data tab, Data Tools in your ribbon (the top bar). This tool is simple to use by may be scary at first. It starts from the basics and runs through advance functioning. One of my favorite features is the pane freeze. From a Window group you hit 'view' tab, followed by selecting rows, columns, or panes (all-inclusive rows and columns).
