Possible Reclass to 68L

Im looking into possibly reclassing into this MOS, or to 68B. I was wondering where and how long is AIT, im not finding much out on google other than its at Ft. Sam Huston. Will I be able to bring my family with me, and just general information I should know about before committing to this job. Thanks so much.

If you search the ATRRS Course Catalog, under "Enlisted MOS," you can search for 68L1 or 68B1 and the course summary should tell you everything you need to know.

I know the AIT is 34 weeks. 18 weeks in phase one and 16 weeks in the second phase. I have no idea about the being able to take your family with you, I'm in the same boat.

If school is more then 20 wks, dependents will be put on orders

That's a negative Ghost Rider. At least from what I understand non of the "prior service" were allowed to bring family. And get ready to learn the Navy song!!
