Actually, I think the right to protest should end when the protest prevents non protesters from engaging in their normal activities. The problem being those to be charged are political rivals of Pres Elect Trump, and cries of abuse of power, hunting down one's political enemies, dictatorships, blah blah blah would overwhelm the justing process. We do have the right.. but most forget you cant step on another persons rights. Most cities do have a city code and process to stage a protest.... Most states also have laws about blocking road ways... now the NCO in me thinks why don't we hold them accountable for the actions of breaking the city code/state laws (something most of them havent been in years.)...... I personally suspect something is going on much bigger.. ie someone poking the bear to see if the bear slaps the S out of them... I think that person or group is trying to provoke the actions to create a bigger issue... We have common sense laws on the books to handle these idiots, we just need to enforce them. Start sending some people to prison for destroying stores, assaulting cops and looting businesses and we will see a return to responsible protests. Yet it is liberals who are acting like terrrorist and damaging property. Tell me why would people in Oregon a state that voted for Hillary go out and start damaging car and property. If you are the locals you are hurting your own people. I would love to see the DOJ investigate Mr. Sorros and his involvement along with certain members of the DNC. Too much coordination is taking place with these protest.
