SSG: Anyone with a lick of sense will "paint over" or crop out their social security number.  But still good advice.

You can open up the picture using Paint, erase that area then color it in with the same color background. Then crop the picture however you want to.

Yes, good points made here -- we see tons of members just "erase" the SSN in the photo if it's there. Good best practice.

3 star admins and above have rights to remove photos.

I voted for the 2nd option -- that members should do their best to screen their own photos -- because as RP continues to grow, it would be very hard for Admins to keep up with editing photos. The Admins are already up to their eyebrows in work! :)

Screen photos and disapprove anything that makes someone vulnerable to ID theft or violates any form of OPSEC.
