<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's not that far on the map but the drivers in this area, well to be polite, it can get crazy. I live in Midland(north of Benning) and it is usually 15-20min drive in. I've heard horror stories of the internet/cable packages available in Phenix City. Do some research into that if its important to you.If you were to drive in on I-185, Sand Hill is actually closer than main post and easier access. Good luck on the trail!

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>When you are leaving out of Phenix City, there is a gate just for Sand Hill. From the center of Phenix City to the heart of of Sand Hill is about a 15-20 minute drive. I actually lived in Fort Mitchell, AL in the Landings suburb. It is 7 minutes to airport gate and a total of 15 mins to Sand Hill.
