I'm still wondering when Al Jazeera became so interested in NFL and MLB athletes. This story feels like headline fodder to me.

I find it hard to believe that he would do this at the risk of his legacy. He has always been one of the classiest and hardest working players in the NFL. We see what has happened to the MLB players tainted by steroids and I cannot imagine Peyton wanting that. Also, I find it interesting that Al Jazeera is reporting this and not Sports Illustrated or ESPN, both of which have done some good investigative journalism. So the source makes me wonder. That being said, he was coming off a next injury and who knows what kind of motivation could result from that. It will be very disappointing to a lot of people. Now for the two Packers accused, as a Bears fan, I can believe that!

Al Jazeera is not a credible source of information, and if it were, American Football is hardly a point of emphasis for them. Considering the "source" an intern, has already recanted, I'd say that this is going nowhere.

i think he did. he had career-ending neck injury that magically healed. Professional atheletes are ultra competitors that will do almost anything to get their bodies ready to play. Since he didnt play for the year, i dont think it matters. no competion, no competitive advantage.

Who cares? In the words of Humphrey Bogart in the movie Casablanca, "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" I personally don't believe it, but I didn't believe Roger Clemens did it either. I will take him at his word until proven otherwise
