I met the family and gave them a framed picture of the two of us flying in Iraq. It was great for the healing process. Hey, new avatar picture! Looks good brother! James D. Travis- killed in the ASP#1 mine field (non-hostile) four months after our arrival.
Cpl. Ronald E. Eberle-Died of wounds, ground fire/helo crash, 10 days left.
L/Cpl. Marcia Wilbanks- Died of accidental discharge .45 (non-hostile) about five days after I left country.
L/Cpl. Linden Brittingham- Killed in the TET offensive, battle for Hue, manning a duster.

The saddest thing about these losses is the fact that half of them were non-hostile, stupid accidents. Something I saw way to much of over there.
Let's be careful out there!!!! Cpl Dennis F.
