Past behavioral health issues stopping me from recruiting, but want to recruit. Can try again and get recommend or is it impossible? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/past-behavioral-health-issues-stopping-me-from-recruiting-but-want-to-recruit-can-try-again-and-get-recommend-or-is-it-impossible

I recently did a Mental Health Evaluation for recruiter school, and was not recommended because of my behavioral health past that was over 4 years ago and I haven’t had any issues since treatment. He told me he wasn’t supposed to recommend anyone with past suicidal thoughts but told me I could still appeal it and get a second opinion l(which I’m doing anyway). Does anyone know if I could still get recommended, or is there just no one way for me to be recommended because of it? A different kind of tough than you are used to. Back stabbing, lying, unrealistic expectations.
I had the misfortune of filling in as a sub-station NCOIC. The leadership was toxic. They treated recruiters like disposable commodities.
A direct quote from the Station CO to the sub-station bosses regarding "canvassing recruiters" (3 year assignment): "You must drive them with reckless abandon. We can always get replacements."
If you have had mental health challenges in the past, being disqualified may be the best possible thing.
