Once I get orders at MEPS to transfer to active duty, what is the typical time allotted for the move? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/once-i-get-orders-at-meps-to-transfer-to-active-duty-what-is-the-typical-time-allotted-for-the-move <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Going to MEPS next week to transfer to Active Duty. All I&#39;m doing is signing my contract. If I get orders that day, what is the typical time allotted for the move? The Army will be moving my HHG but I also have a family I need to move too. Any information and advice would be greatly appreciated. An OCONUS move will be challenging because the Army will not move your dependents until they are command sponsored. Any CONUS move, you will be responsible for the movement of your family, although, the Army will move your HHG SSG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 27 Nov 2019 19:51:09 -0500 2019-11-27T19:51:09-05:00 Response by LT Christopher Miller made Nov 27 at 2019 10:14 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/once-i-get-orders-at-meps-to-transfer-to-active-duty-what-is-the-typical-time-allotted-for-the-move?n=5283803&urlhash=5283803 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It would depend on where you get stationed. You&#39;ll get orders to report on a certain day and it will be on you to arrange their travel as you see fit.
