They won't be ready for you, and you can't do much besides get contact information or maybe shake a hand or two.<br />You have a lot to worry about when you PCS. Take care of house and household, and worry about the unit when you arrive.Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 12 at 2016 10:50 AM2016-08-12T10:50:18-04:002016-08-12T10:50:18-04:00SSG Ed Mikus1800417<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have done just that many times with mixed reviews. In most cases, i would recommend stay away. If they haven't thought enough to sponsor you, they don't make them think about you tell your there.Response by SSG Ed Mikus made Aug 12 at 2016 12:22 PM2016-08-12T12:22:47-04:002016-08-12T12:22:47-04:00LTC Paul Labrador1800470<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Well, the first question is: do you really need a sponsor? I've never really needed one for my PCS's, as I typically do my own research on my own for housing, etc. If you don't need one, then don't bother. If you do, I'd reach out to the BDE S1.Response by LTC Paul Labrador made Aug 12 at 2016 12:40 PM2016-08-12T12:40:10-04:002016-08-12T12:40:10-04:00SFC Joseph Weber1801834<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'd say so. Might find yourself off leave and filling sandbags.Response by SFC Joseph Weber made Aug 12 at 2016 9:06 PM2016-08-12T21:06:28-04:002016-08-12T21:06:28-04:002016-08-12T10:46:51-04:00
