One belief they had in Iraq was that we had a "forcefield" around our vehicles in early Iraq which made us more combat effective.....we did not tell them anything different! I am a Techie and a Geek, Must Have. Now as a Sailor we did have a device (All Sailors are Firefighters first and foremost) that did allow you to look thru walls for hotspots I don't think it really looked thru them just gave you a visual of different temperatures of the Bulkhead and someone could confuse that for a X-Ray I guess.
