OK folks, who here is in college - 2 or 4 year, and plays D&D or Magic in between classes? Are these games popular for military or veterans??

I am not in college but during my time in the service I have known people that do play Magic and D&D you just have to find a good group or place to do it, I still play D&D whenever I find a good group magic was never really my forte.

I have never been stationed anywhere that someone was not playing some sort of RPG like D&D or Magic.

I'm not currently in College. However, I played versions of RPG'S throughout my 15 years in the AF and continue to do so now.

Not in College but I do remember playing D&D in Hawaii 77-79 it was a thing back then I didn't realize it was still popular.

I would say games like World of Warcraft and Call of Duty are much more popular than D&D and Magic. I remember D&D and Magic being popular 15-20 years ago when my parents played them.

I still skype play across country with friends. It is more about just hanging out with people you can BS on same wave length with. Most colleges and/or areas have group pages it is just finding them. Magic is still much alive as I have seen many playing it but I have to admit there have been a ton of changes over last 10 years expect to be lost if you are like myself and out of touch with it for any length of time.
