(Including the turn in of uniforms) Does anyone have some more information on deployment equipment turn in? It just doesn't make much sense for me to turn in all of these items just to "maybe" get a matching set when I get to my next duty station. "OEF-CP" and CIF turn-in, has anyone deployed, receiving these items and PCS'd? 2016-12-10T19:48:01-05:00 WO1 Private RallyPoint Member 2148877

My clothing record reflects me having to turn in all except the waffles and silks. Since he was clearing me, I took his word for it. It can't hurt to ask. You are one of their troops that got lucky enough to have received it. If you transfer posts without passing it off to another troop, it would now have to purchase additional to make up for you.
in other words, its not about you and your convenience. its about the army as a whole. but yes it sucks. There are many reasons but it is better to turn in then drag that stuff around. Choose your battles wisely and this is not one.
