I would have thought demand for veterans specialty license places would be high in North Carolina. Then I read that the state issues 24 different kinds of veterans specialty plates. This easing of the 300 threshold will allow those who don't qualify for one of the other ones to get a generic one. And that's a good thing. (I wonder how much stolen valor is involved in the issuance of those 24 kinds of plates. I'll bet there's at least some.)
