So everyone here in ROK are excited about the meeting yesterday. They must be optimists thinking a leopard can change its spots. KJU talks a good game. and I guess the fact that he destroyed his main nuclear test site helps in deciding not to conduct tests anymore. What do you think is his end game? Get concessions and then start up again? China sure is taking it with stride? What are they up to with this? Do they know KJU is just a bigger bull$hit artist then the other players?

COL Private RallyPoint Member your right to be sceptical sir I am too. His father promised the same thing a little over a decade back and then back peddaled on everything. The Kim family plays by their own play book we can't forget that. He wants economic sanctions lifted I know that we need yo be able to negotiate smart dismarment first economic relief comes later once everything is confirmed and with rule that U.N. inspectors be allowed unrestricted access to the nation that would be substantive for starters.

The best response I've seen so far is that President Trump should be given the Nobel Peace Prize for pulling this off. Well that has his opponents running around with their hair on fire. And even if it turns out that Kim honors his commitment to peace, I don't think the Nobel committee is going to be anxious to award another to an American President, not since the last one was such a mistake

COL Private RallyPoint Member Sir, I am skeptical and do not trust Kim Jong-in. I know he would like the sanctions lifted but who knows what his end game is. A united Korea with him in charge?
