Non-citizens entering military installation. https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/non-citizens-entering-military-installation

My wife is planning on having a couple of her old friends from Canada come visit her on Schofield Barracks, HI, while I'm away on TDY. Something that just popped up in our heads is if they'd even be able to come on post with just her accompanying, not the SM (me). Does anyone have any experience with this that could lend some insight? Much appreciated. PS -- please send Hawaii weather to Boston ASAP. I am not sure if every base is the same, at NBVC bases they check every adult passenger for a US issued ID, if you don't have one your not getting on base without prior approval. The entry requirements were different with my father in law who came from Hungary. It comes down to what document or ID are they using at the gate to enter the installation. A US ID that meets the federal ID card act versus a foreign passport (country dependent).

It is always a good idea to check with the Provost Marshal Office (PMO) or the Security Forces Squadron (SFS) if in a Joint base that is Air Force Led.
